Finale for film festival
TODAY marks the last day of popular festival Animated Exeter.
Events being held include a free animation workshop at Exeter Central Library from 10am to 4pm. It will explain how animation works as well as giving participants the chance to have a go at some basic techniques.
Running at the same time at Exeter Phoenix is another workshop called Imaginary Friends, offering people the chance to create their own animated imaginary friend using a range of different animation. The cost is £18 and it is suitable for seven to 11-year-olds.
At Dartington Hall' Barn Cinema, in Totnes, there is another chance to see the best of the region's under-18 animation from 1pm to 2pm, and at Exeter Phoenix drop in any time between 2pm to 4pm to pick up tips and hints from professional animators who'll be on hand to demonstrate their skills, free of charge.
