Firefighters tackle roof blaze in St Thomas, Exeter
Firefighters tackled a roof blaze at a property in St Thomas, in Exeter last night.
Crews from the city's Middlemoor and Danes Castle fire stations attended the incident, which happened just after 8pm in Oxford Street.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus went up into the roof space to extinguish the fire.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said the blaze was accidental and was not being treated as suspicious. It is believed to have started in the chimney and spread to the roof.
