Floods latest: More rain forecast as disruption continues on roads near Exeter
Drivers across Devon are being advised to prepare for further transport disruption, after the Met Office issued an amber warning of more rain to come on Thursday afternoon.
The 'be prepared' warning for 2pm until midnight on Thursday covers a large area of the South West, including the whole of Devon.
A Met Office spokesman said: "A spell of very wet and very windy weather is expected to move west to east across many parts of the UK during Thursday. Coming so soon after the heavy rain which fell in many places on Wednesday this is likely to provoke further issues with flooding.
"Additionally, winds will gust to 50 to 60 mph in many places, and even 70 mph in some exposed western areas.

Delays and diversions caused by rainfall on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning are still affecting parts of Devon's road network.
In Exeter, Vaughan Road in Whipton is closed around the Thornpark Rise junction because of flooding.
In East Devon, the A3052 has reopened in both directions near Sidford. The carriageway is said to be just passable at Bowd. The A3052 is also closed in both directions at Colyford.
The A377 is reported to be passable between Exeter and Crediton, after earlier problems caused by flooding at Cowley.
The A3072 between Crediton and Tiverton is also just passable in both directions at the Shobrooke junction.
On the A376 in Exmouth, flooding is causing delays at the Summer Lane junction.
Devon County Council is urging residents in Halberton, near Tiverton, to be aware of the risk of flooding on Wednesday afternoon and Thursday after the Grand Western Canal breached its banks in places.
A council spokeswoman said: "Whilst this does not pose an immediate threat, further rainfall tomorrow might make the situation worse.
"Highways teams are doing their best to seal the areas where water is leaking and are keeping the situation under review."
Environment Agency flood warnings – meaning flooding is expected – are currently in place on: the Rivers Exe and Culm at Stoke Canon; the lower River Culm from Cullompton to Stoke Canon, including Hele; the lower River Exe from Tiverton to Exeter, including Bickleigh; and the River Clyst from Broadclyst to Clyst St Mary.
Flood alerts – meaning flooding is possible – are effective on: the lower River Exe; the Rivers Clyst and Culm and their tributaries; and the Rivers Creedy, Creedy Yeo, Little Dart, Lapford Yeo and their tributaries in Mid Devon.
