CULLOMPTON'S remarkable unbeaten run in Western Counties West continued on Saturday, as they got their 10th straight win against Ivybridge.

Cully cruised to a 24-10 victory against the division's fourth-placed team, with Lee Powell, Robbie Hammett and Marcus Busch all crossing.

With all but one game to go before the halfway stage, Charlie Mahon's team remain five points clear.

Cully took the lead on five minutes when Alex Brooks found centre Adam Pearce, who looped his pass over his opponent to winger Powell who sprinted in at the corner flag. Ross Toms converted.

Midway through the first half No. 8 Sam Harris slipped the ball to skipper Rob Hammett on the five metre line and he crashed over. Toms added the extras and a penalty shortly after.

Ivybridge opened their account with a penalty shortly before half-time and scored a try against the run of play after the break.

Their delight only lasted for a minute however as Busch finished off a well worked try. Toms landed the conversion to keep the Cully bandwagon rolling.
