GRAHAM Greene's thriller The Ministry of Fear comes to the Exeter Northcott from Friday, February 26 to Saturday, March 6.

Theatre Alibi has teamed up with the theatre and Oxford Playhouse for this fast-paced production which has a powerful whiff of Hitchcock and echoes of the film The Third Man.

In London during the Second World War, Arthur Rowe wins a cake at a garden fĂȘte. Little does he know it contains something intended for someone else that draws him into a dark world of espionage and intrigue.

Theatre Alibi have turned this dramatic story into a powerful piece of theatre with a strong cast, an atmospheric live score for double bass and sax and a stunning set inspired by the wreckage of London during the Blitz.

Daniel Jamieson adapted Greene's thriller that blurs the boundary between high art and popular entertainment.

Box Office: 01392 493493.
