"In the second half we put in a really good display and thoroughly deserved a 7-0 win."

Ashmoor kept up their quest for the Westward Develoments Devon Women's League Premier Division title, beating Exeter University 4-2.

Alphington kept up their march for honours, travelling to play Activate and picking up three more points with a 3-1 victory.

Goals from Laura Burwood, Rachel Golby and Jodie Millett secured the win.

Cheryl Robson and Jemima Coleman both scored twice, with Tara Arnott and Lara Spiers bagging one apiece.
