GREEN Party leader Natalie Bennett paid a visit to East Devon to support the campaign of a local party member ahead of the county council elections in May.
On her visit to pledge her support for Green Party candidate Cllr Sharon Pavey, from Honiton, Ms Bennett met party members and visited an organic farm.
The party leader visited independent High Street businesses including The Lacemaker's Cafe, Wendy's Cookshop and The Wool Stack.
Ms Bennett and Cllr Pavey also stopped by to support the owners of recently opened Good Food to Go, which sells a range of local food.

"It's great to see these and other independent businesses thriving," said Ms Bennett. "We need strong local economies built around small businesses which provide employment and keep money circulating locally.
"Sharon is a hard-working town councillor who would be a strong representative of her community if she is elected to the county council."
