MEMBERS of the public are invited to join sailors and their families at HMS Raleigh for a free firework display.

The display on Thursday November 5 will include a performance by the Band of Her Majesty's Royal Marines Plymouth and a ceremonial sunset with a supporting guard of honour made up of recruits who will complete their nine weeks basic training course the following day. Gates will open at 5.45pm. Entry is free, but members of the public will be asked to give a donation to the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity (RNRMC).
