CATERING businesses wanting to find out about tapping into the expanding market for healthy food can learn more at an event next month.

West Somerset Council is organising a free training course and one-to-one consultation tailored to participating businesses.

The initial focus is on catering and healthier menus for children, and the course would particularly benefit pubs, cafes, holiday parks, children's attractions, leisure centres, soft play centres or nurseries.

A seminar called Healthy Food, Healthy Business is taking place in March and businesses in Dulverton and other parts of West Somerset are eligible for the training course.

Places are limited, particularly for the consultations, so availability is on a first come first served basis.
