Update: Man, 23, dies following A30 crash near Exeter
A 23-year-old Plymouth man has died in hospital following a single-vehicle road traffic collision on the A30 at Tedburn St Mary at the weekend.
The driver has been formally identified by his family and has been named as James William Hedges, aged 23. He was from the Southway area.

A specially trained police family liaison officer has been appointed to the family at this difficult time.
The collision took place at around 1730 hours on Sunday, 17 March 2013 and involved a Peugeot 106 car which was travelling east.

The driver lost control of the vehicle which left the road and came to rest down a steep embankment.
The driver sustained life-threatening serious head injuries and was taken to Derriford Hospital.
The eastbound carriageway towards Exeter was closed because of the incident, but re-opened just after 9pm. Three fire engines were on the scene.
The road was closed from about 6pm.
