CAPTAIN John Williams of the Ministry of Historical Defence has revealed that his department has been actively engaged on a mission throughout Exeter – to track down suspected History Leaks.

At a press conference given last week Captain Williams re-assured the public that nothing was amiss in the area.

But since then officers have been seen around the city putting up posters and seeking public assistance. Captain Williams said: "It is true that we believe there is a minimal risk of History Leaks occurring within the city.

"But there is no cause for alarm.

"Our officers are available to investigate anything suspicious, and members of the public are urged to contact the department if they notice a leak, however small, and not to tackle it themselves."
