Hortsmann honoured to lead Chiefs against Bath
Exeter Chiefs' Kai Horstmann has said it will be an honour for him to lead the club in the LV= Cup against Bath today.
The back-row forward was a summer acquisition from Aviva Premiership rivals Worcester Warriors, but he has yet to make a competitive appearance for his new club.

The 31-year-old injured his hamstring earlier in the season and has faced a long spell in rehabilitation.
However, he will captain the Chiefs this weekend as they look to maintain their position at the top of Pool One.

"I am very much looking forward to it. It has been a tough few months and not a great injury," he said. "It is one of those things, you always see a bit of light at the end of the tunnel but to actually get back is really exciting now.
"It is never ideal getting injured at any stage but especially when you come to a new club and want to make a big impression. I am very much hoping that is all behind me now and I think myself and all the boys are excited about this game ahead of us."
The experienced Horstmann captained Worcester in the 2011-12 season and recognises the responsibility attached to the role.
But he said it will be an honour to lead out a talented group of predominantly younger players this weekend.
"It does come with responsibility but it is an honour to be asked," he said. "It is a group of guys who have a point to prove, full of young players with exciting talent.
"Some of us haven't played in a while so it is an exciting opportunity. We have done well in this competition and we look forward to taking things one step further now.
"The talent in this squad is very exciting for this club going forward. There are a huge amount of guys there who perhaps haven't played as much rugby as they would like, so everyone has a point to prove. We just want to do the club proud."
Leading Chiefs to their first victory over Bath, in any competition, would certainly mean a lot to Horstmann after a difficult few months.
"Can we beat them? There is no reason why not," he said. "We will certainly bring a lot of intensity and energy into the game at the weekend and we are thinking about nothing else really.
"Conditions might be a bit tricky to play a lot of rugby but we have done as much analysis as we can and we hope we have learned a bit from those previous two games against them this season."
