Hot prospect Jed takes gold
AN Exeter-based apprentice at roads maintenance firm SWH has been awarded the prestigious City & Guilds Gold Medal for Excellence.
The award is in recognition of the achievements of Jed Saunders, 24, and the outstanding level of training SWH has provided.

In just two years, he has earned a Level 2 diploma and NVQ Level 2 award in Highway Maintenance and Excavation Operations, two further NVQ Level 2 awards in Bituminous Paving as a Paver Driver and Ride on Roller Operations, as well as a CPCS Ride on Roller qualification.
As a result of the award, Jed has been shortlisted for the City & Guilds Lion Awards, which will be taking place at the Roundhouse in London in June.
