VOLUNTEERING became a revolution at a festival at Killerton House when around 120 young people descended on the National Trust grounds.

It is the second time the organisation has staged the 'Mini Revolution' event which provides 16 to 25-year-olds with volunteering activities.

They tried their hands at wildlife conservation tasks and hosted guided tours of the house at Broadclyst.

Warden Ed Nicholson said: "Killerton's action-packed event brings young local people together to promote and celebrate volunteering, combining live music, challenges, good food and great company."
