WITH reference to Concern over actions to prevent hunting, Letters, October 21, Melissa Phillips must be extremely gullible if she has swallowed the scurrilous propaganda put out by her new hunting friends.

I have been involved with animal welfare for most of my life and have known many activists. I cannot think of one who would do such things. They are all driven by compassion.

I was wondering if these allegations were true would not the police be involved, not to mention the RSPCA? Perhaps Mrs Phillips would ask for proof, or substantiation, for these from her friends. I, and many others, would be very interested to hear the result.
