ON Saturday, June 5, the Echo published my letter saying the fine for contravening the Hunting Act 2004 was £1,000.

A person guilty of an offence under this Act is, in fact, liable to a fine not exceeding £5,000.

I apologise for my error.

“If John Phelps is wrong about this, has he got the rest of it wrong too??!!”
