A skating extravaganza has helped to raise £1,750 towards giving disabled people the holiday of a lifetime.

A proportion of ticket sales and a bucket collection at the Holiday on Ice Tropicana show at Westpoint Arena, Exeter, raised the cash for Dream-A-Way.

Jeff Merrett, chairman of the Dream-A-Way charity, said: "Attending this amazing extravaganza at Westpoint Arena certainly put the fun in fundraising.

"Thank you to all behind the scenes and of course to the generous audience that contributed to our bucket collection by the young ladies from St Margaret's school."
