It provides refuge and outreach support services for people of all ages affected by domestic violence and specialist support for those at high risk.
Throughout 2012, 70 per cent of service users reported that their perpetrators had jealous and controlling behaviours, 61 per cent experienced harassment and stalking and 49 per cent experienced physical abuse.
The charity has reported that as a result of engaging with specialist services their clients feel safer, are less frightened, have a better quality of life and more confidence in accessing services to ensure support beyond crisis points.

There is also a reduction in levels of violence and abuse suffered by victims while using the charity's services.
In 2011/12 the charity's independent domestic violence advisors received 600 referrals and worked within the criminal justice system with high-risk victims.
