EXETER Harriers' James Denne raced to an emphatic victory in the Inca Trail seven-mile multi-terrain race near Yeovil.

He finished almost three minutes clear of the host club's Paul Levick.

Robert Millward, of SWRR, won the veterans' over-60s prize while Axe Valley Runners' Harry Moore won the Yak Track event.

Reigning Grizzly champion John McFarlane, who is currently based in Exeter, won the Bramley 20-mile road race in a time of 1hr 55mins 36secs.

Exeter Harriers' Nick Sirs finished fourth veteran over-50 in 2:06.53.

Simon Tucker, of South West Road Runners, finished ninth in the Tough Ten event in Weston-super-Mare.
