Injury setback for Sercombe
LIAM Sercombe has suffered a setback in his recovery from a broken ankle with the news that he will have to stay on crutches for another four weeks.
The Exeter City midfielder, who injured his ankle in the 2-2 draw with Barnet on December 29, visited the hospital on Tuesday, but was told by doctors that the bone break has not healed and his cast will have to remain on.
However, Sercombe is refusing to get down about the injury and wrote to his 600-plus followers on Twitter that he was going to turn the bad news into a positive.
"I'm going to come back from this injury so much stronger and better #determined #focused, turn bad news into good news," he said.
