THE Bellydance Superstars troupe shimmies its way into Torquay on Thursday, October 30.

The highly anticipated UK tour gives Devonians an opportunity to experience the intoxicating new Babelesque show.

The troupe was formed almost three years ago by the former manager of The Police and Sting, Miles Copeland, who grew up in the Middle East.

He is confident the show will blow audiences away with its spectacular choreography, colourful costumes and haunting music. People do not need to know anything about bellydancing to appreciate the exquisite moves and unique styles of the art, which is both playful and spiritual.

The show starts at the Babbacombe Theatre at 8pm. Tickets cost £16 for adults and £10 for seniors or children. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Details: 01803 328385.
