Joss and Will are in fine voice to thrill their fans
DEVON was treated to a star-studded music extravaganza as two home-grown singing sensations played to delighted fans at the weekend.
Singer Joss Stone performed an intimate gig alongside Grammy-award winning soul pioneer Solomon Burke at Exeter venue Mama Stone's.

Chart-topping pop star Will Young returned to Devon to headline the county's largest new music festival.
An excited crowd was thrilled to watch soul star Joss perform alongside Solomon at her mother Wendy Joseph's club, in Mary Arches Street, on Saturday night.
The Echo caught up with the singer, who grew up at Ashill near Cullompton and now owns a house near Uffculme, before the gig where she spoke of her excitement.
"I met Solomon while playing a gig in Germany he was at," she said. "We got on well and said we should perform together, so I am doing six dates with him in the UK. He's a legend."
Joss still performs barefoot — a trait that she has no intention of shaking off.
She said: "I love shoes, but I can't face wearing them on stage as I'm terrified I'm going to fall over. I don't want to think about anything else other than the song I'm singing, so it's just easier to have bare feet."
Thousands of people attended the first South Devon Music Festival, held at Newton Abbot Racecourse on Saturday, to watch star attraction Will Young.
The 31-year-old former Exeter University student, who shot to fame eight years ago after winning ITV's Pop Idol, has sold more than eight million records and had the biggest single of the last decade — Evergreen.
"Exeter does seem a world away sometimes," he said. "You have moments in life when it seems bizarre; a bit like being in a film."
The singer has a summer of UK concerts ahead of him.
"Funnily enough, the first ever solo gig I did was in Devon," he said.
"What is great about outdoor gigs is that you can do all the old songs and mix it up a bit — do all the old covers and some of the new songs too."
The festival also featured Ade Edmondson, the Wurzels and BBC Radio 2's Best Live Act, the Demon Barber Show.
