KT Tunstall signs up to top bill at moor festival
Feisty Scottish songstress KT Tunstall has been announced as acoustic Friday-night headliner at this summer's Chagstock Festival. The BRIT award-winning artist who brought us a catalogue of hit singles including Suddenly I See, Black Horse And The Cherry Tree and Other Side Of The World, adds to what is already shaping up as a quality bill that's a balance between homegrown gems and international names.
Other headliners for the festival taking place on July 20 and 21, have yet to be confirmed, but hotly tipped singer songwriter Juan Zelada – an artist in the mould of Paulo Nutuni who has grabbed a place on this week's BBC Radio 2 playlist with latest single What Do I Know – is another early coup. Also on the line-up so far are Newquay troubadour Ruarri Joseph, The Travelling Band, New Crisis, Big Boy Bloater, Emily and the Woods, Mad Dog McRea, Kate McGill, Martin Harley Band and the Monkeygland Blues Band. Set in 45 acres of beautiful Dartmoor countryside, Chagstock has become renowned for its stunning location, diverse line-up and family-friendly atmosphere. Its capacity is once again capped at 5,000 to keep its intimate atmosphere.

Jubilee evening of 60 years of music
A Celebration of the Queen's Jubilee promises 60 glorious years in music and song to celebrate her Majesty's Diamond Jubliee.
Coming to Bristol's Colston Hall next week, this is a concert bursting with truly British music to celebrate our patriotic nation.
Former royal correspondent Jennie Bond will host the evening and says the Queen's taste in music is generally "something quite light and cheerful".
With this in mind, the London Concert Orchestra with Rosemary Squires will be spanning the Queen's life, with songs from the war years right through to the Beatles.
Music played at the coronation will be performed, as well as People Will Say We're In Love from the musical Oklahoma, which, according to Bond, "the Queen and Prince Phillip still like to dance to".
Music from classic television and radio programs such as The Archers, Dad's Army and Last Of The Summer Wine will also be performed.
Nostalgia and enchantment will no doubt bring audiences flooding in.
