Crediton United fell to a 4-1 home defeat by promotion-chasing Royal Marines in Peninsula League Division One East on Monday night.

In front of a three-figure crowd at Lord's Meadow, the Marines scored three goals in 14 minutes just before the break through Simon Bochenski, Danny Harris and Dan Tavener.

Harris added another in the second half before Wayne Baker scored a consolation for Kirton.
