Lantern procession called off for a second time because of foul weather forecast
TIVERTON'S Christmas lantern procession has been called off for a second time because poor weather is forecast.
The event was due to take place in the town centre tonight, and children from around the town had created lanterns in all shapes and sizes for the parade.
Wind and rain lashed the Westcountry last night and more is expected this evening.
The procession had been due to be held on the same night as the Christmas lights switch-on, but heavy rain that night led to its postponment.
