Lee's title hopes suffer huge blow
LEE Rogers' recent fine form in the 2011 Pickuptruckracing.com Championship ended with a whimper in rounds six, seven and eight at Donnington Park.
After his strong podium finish last time out at Pembrey, the Exeter-based driver was unable to make any of the races after a total engine failure just five laps into Saturday's qualifying session which could not be repaired.
With no points being obtained, Rogers' title challenge took a massive blow, as he dropped five places in the championship table down to 12th position.
The engine is being rebuilt, but there is a lot of work to do to be ready for the next event back at Donington Park next weekend for rounds nine and 10.
