A bout of severe weather, with the potential for snow, is due to hit Devon and Cornwall around midnight with particular disruption possible in Devon.
This may see snow on higher ground, potentially causing disruption in areas such as Haldon Hill near Exeter.
As a result, a number of contingency plans have been put in place by police, Devon County Council and the Highways Agency.
