Local man dies following collision with lorry on M5 near Exeter
Part of the M5 in Devon was closed yesterday after a fatal accident involving a pedestrian and a lorry. A local man in his sixties died after being in collision with the lorry, between junction 30 and 31, near Exeter, at about 11am. All three northbound lanes were briefly closed for an aerial investigation of the scene. Police said yesterday they were still trying to contact the dead man's family. An investigation is continuing into how he came to be on the road. The Highways Agency said there were delays on the motorway's northbound carriageway, while motorists reported "severe" disruption.

“How is it offensive when it's stating a fact?”

“Monkey Nuts - the one that has now been deleted and had quite a few negative ratings against it was not very savoury in what it implied. The fact that it has now been deleted reiterates my comment though in respect when looking at yours again I find it offensive.”

“Both comments were expressions about this sad loss, jbrooks93. What comments are you on about?”

“Seeing as we do not have all the facts about what happened, should we really be making these sort of comments. Our thoughts really should be for the loss of this person to his family and friends! Shame on you!”

“Very sad, but it's common knowledge that pedestrians and motorways don't mix very well.”
