Lorry driver taken to hospital after collision near Sourton
At 12:21am today, the Fire Service were called to a report of a lorry that had jack knived at Stowford Cross, Sourton on the A30. Appliances from Okehampton, Hatherleigh and the heavy rescue tender from Middlemoor were mobilised to the incident.
The collision involved one articulated lorry with the driver still trapped inside, efforts were made to release the driver using powered rescue tools. The driver was taken to hospital. The Police were also in attendance.

The Highways Agency attended the location with snow ploughs due to weather conditions in the area.
