MP's closer look at science with university
Devon MP Ben Bradshaw became a scientist for the day when he took part in experiments at the University of Exeter's laboratories.
Mr Bradshaw, MP for Exeter, conducted a series of experiments with physicist Dr Annette Plaut to learn more about some of the university's scientific research.

It was part of a pairing scheme that began in October when Dr Plaut spent a week shadowing Mr Bradshaw.
Dr Plaut said: "It's crucial that policymakers take an interest in science, as they make key decisions on issues such as funding, in a sector key to the economy of tomorrow."
