Man, 83, who died in road crash is named
Police have named a pensioner who died following a road crash in Devon. Robert Haskell, 83, from the Chudleigh area, was involved in a two-vehicle crash on January 3 on the B3193 at Kingsteignton near Preston Manor works. Mr Haskell was seriously injured and taken to Torbay Hospital where he later died on Monday. He had been driving a Ford Fiesta – with him was an 18-year-old passenger who suffered serious fracture injuries. The other vehicle involved in the tragedy was a Ford Fiesta. A 27-year-old woman was behind the wheel and suffered serious lower leg injuries.
