Man questioned after alleged sexual assault in Sidmouth
A man is being questioned in police custody after an alleged sexual assault in Sidmouth.
Officers at Honiton CID are investigating the alleged incident which occurred in the early hours of Sunday, October 21, on Sidmouth beach.

A 33-year-old man was arrested later at 2.10pm the same day. He is not from the local area.
Specialist officers are looking after an 18-year-old female.

PC Steve Harrington, said: “This is an unusual and isolated incident. Sidmouth is a safe place so we would like to reassure the public not to be alarmed.
