EXETER Racecourse is hosting South West Salute day on Sunday, with racing, military vehicles, and Exeter's Rifles Support team all at the event.

The day offers children aged 17 and under racing for free, and all serving military personnel and one guest are eligible for half price entry. For every full-priced ticket sold, £1 will be donated to the Salute.

The Salute is aiming to raise £2m for six military charities – Help For Heroes, Royal British Legion, Royal Air Force Association, Royal Navy & Royal Marines Charity and SSAFA Forces Help.

They will benefit from 60 per cent of funds raised by South West Salute, with 40 per cent going to South West-based charities.
