Mini owners raise cash for hospice
IT was a Mini adventure on a mammoth scale when more than 50 drivers rolled their iconic cars into Devon.
More than 50 Minis converged at Crealy Adventure Park, near Exeter, as part of Silly Mini Sunday.

And the sight caused quite a stir as the classic motors then proceeded to drive in convoy to Powderham Castle, in Kenton, on the outskirts of Exeter.
Now in its fifth year, the event draws hordes of Mini-mad drivers from around the country to Devon to raise money for charity.
Scores of people turned out to watch the extraordinary fleet as they made their way out of Crealy and headed towards Topsham.
After spending the morning in Crealy's car park, the Mini procession made its way to Powderham Castle before finishing at the green at Dawlish Warren where the cars formed a large horseshoe.
After the run, Dawlish Sands Holiday Park played host to a charity auction and hog roast.
The event, which was boosted by the warm weather, was in aid of raising funds for a new children's hospice being built in Cornwall called Little Harbour.
Silly Mini Sunday is organised by Exeter Mini fan Elaine Farrell.
She came up with the idea when she decided to see how many Minis she could fit in a car park one Easter Sunday.
She said: "I have been involved in organising fundraising fun using many classic Minis for quite a few years now.
"This year we hope to raise awareness and funds for Little Harbour children's hospice.
"We are holding an auction in the clubhouse of Dawlish Sands at the end of our run.
"All items we auction are donations from local businesses and companies within the Mini fraternity.
"We started off at Crealy Adventure Park at 9am by driving 50 classic Minis into the car park.
"We then left the park grounds at 1.30pm and drove in convoy through Topsham.
"The Minis then had a sedate drive through the grounds of Powderham Castle, and finished at Dawlish Warren green.
"We parked up in a large horseshoe shape, with at least 60 minis joining the run."
