MOULDER'S Mongrels are now just one win away from their first Tiverton & District Pool League title.

They came from 2-1 down to secure victory against the Racehorse, winning 7-2.

The race for second place is heating up, with Aldo's Hounds beating Half Moon 6-3 and Queen's Head beating the Con Club 7-2.

Hare & Hounds B beat bottom side Barley Mow A 5 - 4.

The title race looks like it will go to the wire in Division 2. Queen's Head B secured the points against Any Pub Will Do with a 7-2 win.

Seven Stars Superstars had a close encounter with the White Horse Exiles, taking the first 3 frames only for the Superstars to fight back and win the next five as they won 5-4.

With the top two meeting this week the destination of the title may become a little clearer.

Con Club Wildcats beat Full Metal Heathcoat 8-1 and Hariy Dog came from 4-1 down to beat Seven Stars 5-4.

The final frame was won by Paul Kerslake and Dave Lake.
