MOULDER'S Mongrels made it two wins in a row in the Tiverton Winter Pool League by beating summer champions Queen's Head A 8-1.

Alan Walker and Leon Phillips won the last frame of their match to clinch a 5-4 victory for Half Moon over Racehorse.

Hare & Hounds B came from 3-0 down to level their match with Aldo's Hounds at 3-3. Kim Goldsworthy and Jeremy Roberts clinched victory for Hare & Hounds B by winning the final doubles.

In Division 2, Any Pub Will Do beat Con Club Wildcats 2-1 despite having only five players. Queen's Head B dominated the White Horse Exiles, winning 8-1. Heathcoat fought back from 4-0 down to 4-3 against Seven Stars, who won the eighth frame to win 5-3. Seven Stars Superstars came from 4-2 down to beat Hariy Dog 5-4, with Damon Davey and Phil Tout winning the final frame to seal victory.
