"Exeter and Devon have always been integral to the Western Morning News, but we hope the re-establishment of the newspaper's permanent presence in the city will bring additional benefits for our readers."

Reporters Phil Goodwin and Adam Walmsley will be working at the offices, at Sowton Industrial Estate, alongside the team of the Exeter Express and Echo, the WMN's sister title.

"We want readers to know that we are actively looking to cover the county, the city and the east coast," Phil said.

Anyone with a story to tell is asked to call the office on 01392 442244. Alternatively, they can make contact by emailing Phil at pgoodwin@westernmorningnews.co.uk or Adam at awalmesley@ westernmorningnews.co.uk.
