National accolade for East of Exe
EXETER based estate agency, East of Exe, has been recognised as one of the top 20 small estate agents in Britain who go above and beyond to help their customers.
The recognition came from The Daily Telegraph, who took into account a number of factors including use of innovative online techniques, rapport with the local community and ability to live up to promises.

The newspaper also sought feedback from the general public in order to come up with its shortlist.
Established at the beginning of 2010 in Topsham by business partners Chris Taylor and Ian Garcia, East of Exe specialises in property services for East Devon.

Initially dealing with sales only, the business entered the lettings market in 2011 with the acquisition of Paul Property Services in Topsham. The agency has since grown from strength to strength, despite the challenges currently facing the property industry, and has quickly established itself as a key player in the competitive East Devon agency marketplace.
It is expanding this month with the opening of an additional branch office in Southernhay, central Exeter.
Director, Chris Taylor, attributes their success to the company's client-focused approach and strong market knowledge: "We're thrilled to receive national recognition for what we do. By limiting our market to properties in East Devon we don't stretch ourselves too thinly which means we can offer customers a highly-personalised service and genuine insider knowledge of the East Devon property scene. It's something our customers appreciate.
"The Exeter office will allow us to better serve our clients, specifically in Exeter but also across East Devon where Exeter is the natural centre of commerce", he added.
The Southernhay office will also operate both sales and lettings and will be managed by partner, Mr Garcia.
As with the Topsham office, where a percentage of all sales fees are donated to local charity Estuary League of Friends, the estate agency is eager to give something back to the community.
A percentage of all sales fees generated from the Exeter office will be donated to the Force cancer charity, whose chief executive and centre manager Meriel Fishwick officially opened the new office.
