New air links to Nice and Barcelona from Exeter
Regional airline Flybe has announced the launch of flights from Exeter to two of Europe's most popular destinations, beginning in the spring.
Passengers travelling from the Westcountry will, for the first time, be able to embark at the city airport for flights bound for Barcelona and Nice.

The Barcelona route will fly twice-weekly from March 31, with flights to Nice running on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from May 3.
Flybe marketing director Simon Lilley said: "We are delighted to now offer South West travellers the opportunity to travel to Barcelona from Exeter for the first time ever. We fully expect both this brand new destination and our new route to Nice on the magnificent French Riviera to prove hugely popular."

Mr Lilley added that Flybe will also be introducing additional flights from Exeter to four popular summer sun destinations, in response to demand from Westcountry passengers.
For next summer it will offer four return flights every week to Alicante and Malaga and three to Faro and Palma Mallorca.
The new summer flights are now available for booking, with one-way prices starting from £49.99 to Nice and £59.99 to Barcelona, including taxes and charges.
Flybe is Europe's largest regional airline, with 199 routes serving 17 countries.
