Nick guest at the Lib Dems' gourmet dinner
THE "witty and lively" Liberal Democrat MP Nick Harvey will be the guest speaker at a dinner at the Boniface Centre, Crediton, this month.
Mr Harvey, who has called for referendums on the Maastricht Treaty and on Britain joining the Euro, will be attending the event, organised by the Devon group of the party, on Friday, October 12, at 7pm. He is a member of Greenpeace and Amnesty International.
Tickets for the dinner, featuring a gourmet meal made from locally-sourced ingredients, cost £12.50 each.
