O'Flynn happy with any role
EXETER City striker John O'Flynn says he is happy to play anywhere for the team, despite putting in two man-of-the-match displays against AFC Wimbledon and Fleetwood Town last week.
The hard-working forward helped City to collect four points at St James's Park as he scored in both games after being given the opportunity to start up front alongside Jamie Cureton, with Alan Gow just behind.
He admits that is his normal position, but says he is more than happy to play wide on the left or just behind Cureton – roles he has filled a number of times this season.
"The manager put me up front (against Wimbledon). That is my position really, but I will play anywhere for the team. It was great to get another goal and it is a reward for the play-making in the team."
He added the partnership between the front three is working well.
"We all have different games. Jamie (Cureton) likes to stay on the end," he said "I like to work hard. Alan (Gow) likes to play behind the ball.
"I think we have been good value for some good home performances. I think we have shown in the last few that we are getting the right formula."
