Olympic inspiration for Exeter fundraiser
INSPIRED by Jo Rowsell, an Olympic cyclist who suffers from Alopecia, Jo Borthen has shaved her hair to stand up to cancer.
Linda Buckle, owner of the Marsh Hair Salon, Marsh Barton, agreed to shave Jo's head. Jo's hair was put into small ponytails, which were sent off to The Little Princess Trust to be made into wigs for small children who were bald as a result of drugs or illness.

After the her head had been shaved clean, Jo said: "I was even given my own Gold Medal by my granddaughter, who really hadn't wanted me to have my long hair cut but was very proud that I had done it."
So far £420 has been raised and further donations can be made at www.justgiving.com/joborthen2403.
