Oven fire at Exeter flat
Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue service were called out this afternoon following a 999 call to a flat in Heavitree Road, Exeter.
One fire appliance from Danes Castle and one fire appliance from Middlemoor were sent to a report of an oven on fire. On arrival crews confirmed that there had been a small fire in the oven and that the flat was full of smoke. The fire was already out and the crew used a fan to ventilate the property.
