PHOTOS: Thrills and spills at Tiverton soccer contest
FROM zipping down the wing to executing goal-saving tackles, there was no shortage of on-pitch excitement as six different schools competed for honours in a football tournament in Tiverton.
Thirteen teams took part in the competition held at Wilcombe Primary School last Wednesday.
The six-a-side contest was open to schools within the Children First Federation, which includes Wilcombe, Hemyock and Sampford Peverell Church of England Primary schools.
The winners of the year five and six boys competition were Walter Daw Primary School in Exeter, while Sidbury Primary School took the honours in the year three and four boys final.

In the girls competition, the victorious team were from Sampfrod Peverell.
