SHOBROOKE Park Cricket Club will run a youth section for the first time this summer.

Previously the club had been adults only and stayed away from youth cricket.

But an under-11s side is planned for the season ahead under the guidance of senior first XI players Richard Pyle and Ben Trenaman.

Boys and girls aged from nine to 11 are wanted to get the side up and running.

The first net will take place in the sports hall at Queen Elizabeth's Community College in Crediton on Sunday, February 28, between 11am and 1pm. Any parent who would like more details should contact Pyle on 07831 559034 or at Exeter@nfumutual.co.uk.
