Pellow praises his victorious Exeter Chiefs
Exeter Chiefs skills coach Ricky Pellow believes a number of his squad have played themselves into contention for next weekend's Aviva Premiership match against Sale Sharks.
A much-changed Chiefs squad impressed during the club's recent LV= Cup games, particularly in Saturday's 28-19 victory over Northampton Saints.

The win at Sandy Park ended a run of six games without success, lifting morale ahead of Friday's trip to Salford City Stadium.
Pellow said: "We have a nice bit of momentum now going into the Sale game. There are a lot of selection headaches within the squad this week and that is a massive positive for us.

"As a group of coaches, you want to have those headaches on a Monday after a game, and we will definitely have a long chat about it all this week.
"To get that first win again, going back into the Premiership now, is also a massive bonus."
The Devon club's defeat at Bath last weekend left them needing other results to go their way, if they were to progress to the Cup semi-finals.
Those hopes were ended by Harlequins' win over Ospreys yesterday. However, Pellow is pleased with the progress his side have made as the final stage of the league season approaches.
He said: "Obviously, we haven't had wins lately, but we know we have been improving. Last week at Bath was disappointing and a bit frustrating.
"We talk about moving forward each week. We created chances at Bath last week but this time we created them and then took them. It has been a massively pleasing two weeks, as well as the result today.
"We talked all week about the intensity we wanted to bring, our carries and our physicality and line speed. We didn't give them any chance to breathe.
"Northampton came down with a strong squad – both the team that started and the bench as well. They are a strong side, whatever team they put out. We controlled the game for large periods.
"Their driving out-out and scrum are their go-to strengths. We matched the scrum but the driving line-outs are hard to stop. We did it at times but they did get some momentum there."
A four-try bonus point for Chiefs could have put Harlequins under more pressure yesterday in the battle to top Pool One. Pellow said: "We would have liked to have been an extra point up. A five-point win would have been good, but any win over Northampton is a step forward for the club and we are excited about it.
"The most pleasing thing was the result and the performances that all the boys put in."
