People on benefits have it all paid for

WHY is the Government rewarding those people who don't work? Isn't it enough that they get free school meals for their children; an £85 grant for school uniforms per child; their rent paid; council tax paid; are still be paid even if they or their child are ill; as well as help with their energy bills?

Why reward them with free laptops and internet as well? Don't they get enough taxpayers' money for doing nothing?

I am a single mother with two children. I work to support my family and receive family tax credit but end up with less money to live on than those who live off benefits because I have to pay for childcare, school uniforms, rent, council tax, etc.

If I am unable to go into work because I or my child is ill, I do not get paid. Because I get family tax credit, I do not qualify for a free laptop for my children.

The Government feels it's okay for my children's education to suffer and for us to live right on the bread line because I chose to go back to work and to reward those who have everything handed to them on a plate for doing as little as possible.

These people need an incentive to get them to go back to work.

If they can afford every console going; nice holidays each year; to be able to smoke like chimneys; to go out every night and still have money in their pockets because everything is paid for them, why would they give that up?

Why should my family suffer? How is this fair?

“Why not let someone else take your job then Mrs Reynolds perhaps someone who has a supporting husband and enough money to pay tax, After all enough people do not have enough to afford what the rich have and have to make do with second best and will never have public school education private health schemes and a life of privilege to be able to subsidise poorer sections of our community. Some rich workers do nothing for the community except make high a profit for themselves and ignore the less well off. A second job for a well of family would mean better state provisions and more tax collected for the poor of spirit.”

“This is a bit of a generalization about people who get it all! I work and have to get Housing Benefit, rents are always too hight to pay a from a small income. I don,t smoke or have a lap top given to me.Think you are talking about the uneducated subnormal people who are on benefits as they are not to bright and could not hold a job down because of all there addictions.”
