Person dies after being struck by train near Powderham
A person has died after being struck by a train on the line at Powderham.
The driver of the 11.41pm service from Paignton to Exeter St. Davids struck a person on the Up Main line at Powderham footpath crossing, between Starcross and Exminster at 00.27am this morning.

Both lines were blocked with trains being held Newton Abbot and Exeter St. Davids.
Three trains were delayed for more than five hours.
