Person rescued from floodwater in Newton Abbot
Crews helped rescue one person from their car stuck in flood water in in Teigngrace in Newton Abbot this morning.
Two fire appliances from Newton Abbot along with the specialist rescue team from Camels Head were mobilised to reports of a person stuck in their car in floodwater at 06:27am.

Upon arrival crews confirmed one vehicle stuck in floodwater with one person still within the vehicle. Crews set to work in dry suits to rescue the person from floodwater uninjured.
