Pieces wanted for new gallery
Tiverton's newest art gallery has recently opened providing a great opportunity for local artists to exhibit their work.
Situated at the Tiverton Community hub in the former Red Cross Centre on Leat Street, the gallery displays many different types of art including handmade cards, handmade doorstops, pen-and-ink drawings, jewellery, paintings and woodwork.
There is still room for more art work to be displayed in the gallery space, so if anyone is interested in showcasing their work please feel free to come along to the gallery which is open Monday to Friday, 10 am to 4pm, and have a look around and talk to a member of staff.
Charity Self Unlimited are holding an art session featuring landscape drawing at the gallery on March 24, between 10am - 1pm. The cost of £25 per person includes all materials needed plus tea/coffee and cake, no need to book just arrive on the day.
